Thanks to the materials and their placement, it works effectively with the body during active movement. The unique Polartec® Alpha® direct active insulation, protected by a lightweight and elastic 2.5-layer membrane, is placed on the front body, shoulders, sleeves, and partially on the back. This insulation does not need lining, which means it can be worn in the direct contact with the skin or other layers of fabric, significantly reducing the weight of the clothing. Polartec® Alpha® direct offers excellent thermal comfort and has one of the highest vapour permeability values on the market. The windproof and waterproof membrane (10,000mm / 10,000 g/ m2/ 24h) protects exposed parts of the body from wind, rain and snow. Maximum comfort and range of movement is complemented by breathable and elastic material, located on the sides, inside of the shoulders and part of the back. The jacket is functionally complemented by two large zipped pockets, also accessible by fastening the hip belt of the backpack. They reliably store belts, goggles or gloves. On the inside, there are two more mesh pockets, which can accommodate smaller items or a smartphone. Ergonomic hood made of waterproof and water-resistant membrane has an extended shield and is helmet compatible. Silicone tape in the back at the bottom hem keeps the jacket where it should be and prevents it from slipping out.
