They serve as an insulating layer for the thighs and buttocks in extreme weather conditions during a ski ascent or descent, or after training on cross-country trails. Thanks to the use of top-quality materials, they provide reliable thermoregulation. The lightweight and elastic 2.5 layer membrane covers the unique thermo-insulating material. The active Polartec® Alpha® direct insulation offers excellent thermal comfort and has one of the highest vapour permeability on the market. It is its use that significantly reduces the weight of these shorts, as it does not need an inner lining and its fibres touch the base layer of the garment directly. Polartec® Alpha® direct simply deals with excess moisture and takes care of for a comfortable body climate. The membrane is windproof and waterproof (10,000mm / 10,000 g/ m2/ 24h). The shorts reach down to the knees and reliably protect the thighs, which are more susceptible to the cold. The waistband is elasticated and they have a fleece panel inserted in the back for increased movement comfort. Thanks to the full side zippers, the BLATNÁ shorts can be quickly and easily unzipped and put directly on the trousers without no need to take off your skis or boots.
