The front part of the trousers is insulated with top quality insulation also used by special army units: Polartec® Alfa® Direct, which is overlaid with ultra-lightweight and highly durable Pertex® Quantum material. The seat part is made of three-layer thin and elastic softshell with a membrane (10,000 mm H₂O / 10,000 g/m²/24 h). In the back there is Blizzard® Thermal Comfort, an extremely breathable and elastic fleece that retains its high thermal insulation properties even when the fabric is stretched. The lower part of the trousers is reinforced with abrasion-resistant material, protecting against punctures or tears from skis.

I ordered the pants primarily for hiking in the winter. Since I have a fast stride and one sweats while doing so, I chose these pants mainly because of the materials used, as ... read moreI know them well and know that they work perfectly in both heat regulation and sweat wicking. The trousers have a good fit and quality just for me they have one processing flaw, and that is in the lack of the option to use a belt or some kind of waist tightening. I have a narrow waist and although the pants fit my clothes the built in elastic does not have enough strength to keep them on me when I move. I'm not a fan of braces so unfortunately had to return/exchange them for the RYSY model which fit me just as well but have the option to tighten the waistband but also use a belt. I understand that these pants are full flare, but the option to use a belt would have improved them. This comment is more to warn people who are of a slimmer build to watch out for this, rather than to somehow criticize these pants.
