The ideal jacket for ski mountaineering in all mountain conditions. We've refined a successful, performance-oriented jacket to perfection. Thanks to its hybrid design, it effectively regulates the internal climate and ensures maximum mobility. Use this jacket for active uphill ski touring, cross-country skiing as well as performance winter hiking. The shoulders and the exposed part of the back are protected by a windproof and waterproof membrane (10,000 mm / 10,000 g/m2/24 h). The front panel, upper back and forearms are covered with an ultra-lightweight, tightly woven fabric with a ripstop structure, Pertex® Quantum. It protects against wind and moisture and guarantees high vapour permeability. Both the membrane and the Pertex® Quantum overlay the high-performance Polartec® Alpha® Direct insulation. As one of the best synthetic insulations on the market, it optimises warmth, resists moisture and works even when wet. You'll find it on the chest, sleeves and upper back. This insulation doesn't need any lining, which you will (not) feel especially in the weight. The unique elasticity and breathability comes through the Blizzard® Thermal comfort fabric, located on the back and forearms. This material has a special weaving density and can maintain the internal temperature even when the fabric is stretched. The risk of hypothermia is therefore lower than with conventional elastic fabrics. The underarm panels are made of a fabric inspired by GRID technology, which is designed to quickly wick sweat away from the body. We've also used the same material for the anatomical hood with elasticated hem, which acts as natural ventilation under the helmet.
