The unique outdoor shoe from NORTHFINDER has a waterproof membrane and excellent Megagrip sole from VIBRAM®. The medium-soft sole, thanks to the high-quality rubber compound tested over the years, provides excellent stability. It offers traction even on a wet surface, when descending, on grass or on a forest floor. It provides stability even in light climbing sections, thanks to moderately hard design. Pattern with 4 mm depth expels mud and dirt. EVA foam bonded 2-layer midsole cushions and distributes shocks. The foot is seated on a shaped and replaceable Ortholite insole with arch support, and the shoe fixes it by lacing up to the toe. A thin flexible tongue with foam padding and side sewn gussets distributes the pressure of tightened laces and minimizes dirt entry. A mesh lining ensures foot ventilation. The shoe is breathable to effectively regulate moisture and keep feet dry. The shoe is protected by a durable rubber edging in the pattern of climbing shoes. Great satisfaction: shoes purchased via e-shop at the end of August 23:- fast delivery, packing tip top- shoe size was selected according to the specifications in cm (I wear 3... read more7 but according to cm it is 38), shoes fit like a glove- tested after delivery on 1 medium heavy tour - Janosikove hole and ascent to Maly Rozsutec in sunny weather (shoes were on the surface of steel ribs, the waterproof layer proved itself through the water crossing in the gorge, the boots coped perfectly with the climb up and down the rock, at the end of the day my feet did not have a single abrasion, they were in the boots like in cotton)- I recommend, I have a thicker foot, the boot was not too wide for it, but I do not think that for a standard foot they are narrow, they are light and very comfortable.If they last me without damage for many similar outings, it's a great buy. I'm very excited about them today.

They were first used in the Retezat mountains, on a 6h+ hike up to Lake Bucura, with camping gear on the back. I recommend a leather waterproofing product to use after every boot sanitization!
