  • Softshell is a universal functional material that thoroughly protects against the wind. Although it doesn’t provide absolute waterproofness, thanks to the membrane and hydrophobic surface treatment, it doesn’t disappoint even in humid conditions.   • The capability of a functional material to withstand external moisture. The value of water resistance is given in the form of a water column in mm. For maximum durability, the seams are taped, as with the NORTHKIT collection. Learn more about waterproofness and hydrophobicity.
LAYERING
  • A hardshell protective outer layer will protect you in any extreme weather conditions. It must have a good combination of breathability and water resistance, e.g. elastic softshell jackets with taped seams. It may contain Dermizax™ EV material with water resistance up to 20,000 mm.
