The fleece NorthPolar 320 is thick enough to be sufficient insulation under the jacket, even when temperature drops below zero. Reinforced shoulders, neck and lower edge can withstand moisture and abrasion caused by pressure when wearing a backpack. Thanks shaped design have optimum mobility and also plenty of space for further layering. Jacket has adjustable bottom edge and the surface is treated against pilling. This will make it looks like new for a long time. The side pockets can warm your hands in your chest pocket you can keep your IDs and the internal mesh pockets will hide scarf and gloves.
